Full Job Description

Contract LTC Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) provides nursing care during night shifts in a long‑term care setting, ensuring resident health and documentation compliance. The role supports a team of LPNs and nursing assistants while maintaining a safe environment. It offers 13‑week assignments with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high‑quality nursing care to residents during night shifts.
Monitor resident health status and respond to changes.
Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Supervise and support LPNs and nursing assistants to deliver excellent resident care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in Minnesota
CPR certification
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
At least 1 year of experience in long‑term care or similar setting
Knowledge of EMR systems
Ability to work nights from 10 p.m. to 6:45 a.m.
Physical stamina to lift and move residents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
