Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. We are open Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 6:00. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles in top condition. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrain systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
- Execute wheel alignments and suspension work to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety standards.
- Repair and service automotive electrical systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to guide repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed for quality assurance and customer communication purposes.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics equipment, schematics, and electrical systems.
- Experience working on diesel engines is a plus.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures including powertrain repairs, transmissions, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $29.47 - $35.49 per hour
