Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
In this role, you will ensure behavioral and psychological information is meaningfully incorporated into comprehensive evaluations and prescriptive plans. Your work will directly support individuals in achieving greater self-sufficiency and maintaining their fullest potential.
You will apply clinical expertise to help deliver high-quality, person-centered services aligned with the Agency’s mission and vision.
Work Schedule Options
Part-Time:
- 2–3 days per week, preferably Mondays and Thursdays; No Fridays
- In-office only (no remote work option)
- Flexible start time
- Salary is prorated based on days worked.
Full-Time:
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Hybrid option with two remote workdays per week
- Intake appointments generally scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Duties
- Evaluate and provide behavioral and psychological information for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for purposes of diagnosis, program planning, consultation, and evaluation.
- Participate as a member of the Agency’s multi-disciplinary diagnostic and consultation team.
- Provide consultation and guidance to Agency personnel involved in developing and delivering services.
- Serve as a teacher and consultant to staff supporting individuals served by San Andreas Regional Center.
- Assist in the development of new programs as needs arise and support ongoing evaluation of programs operated by the Agency and community partners.
- Perform related duties as assigned, including conservatorship petitions, competency to stand trial evaluations, and diversion plans.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience, with a significant portion of time spent in programs or services supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Special Skills & Knowledge
- Strong ability to collaborate constructively and supportively with clients, families, Agency professionals, and community partners.
- Knowledge of psychological principles, methods, techniques, and materials relevant to serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Expertise in administering and interpreting psychological and behavioral assessments.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional written and verbal reports.
Additional Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license and automobile liability insurance (minimum required by law), or ability to provide independent transportation
- Licensed to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience, with a significant portion of time spent in programs or services supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
