On an assigned shift, directs and/or provides for the care, treatment, and training of clients following established standards and procedures. Guide and organize assigned staff on a shift in providing active treatment services to ensure implementation of Individual Program Plans. Communicate and collaborate with staff to carry out the facility’s mission, goals, and objectives. Direct all routine nursing activities of assigned staff and provide for total nursing care during the assigned shift. Maintain a safe, sanitary, therapeutic and professional environment that promotes respect and dignity and protects privacy, rights, confidentially and physical/emotional well being of all clients. Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement processes. Facilitate and monitor compliance with Federal, State, and facility standards of clients’ treatment and care. Facilitate the scheduling, orientation, coaching, training, counseling, and performance evaluation of assigned personnel. Participate in staff development training programs and attend training as required. Must possess and maintain sufficient strength, agility, endurance, and sensory ability to perform the duties contained in this duty statement. Will be required to work weekends and Holidays.
Effective October 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three (3) percent in exchange for five (5) hours per month of the Personal Leave.
