The priority purpose of this position is to understand, explain, and apply established guidelines for clinical placement compliance tracking and onboarding, as it pertains to student and faculty safety checks, health clearances, evidence of training, and clinical onboarding. Additionally, this position will evaluate the department's compliance-tracking guidelines and onboarding processes and work with the Assistant Director to ensure requirements are clear and understandable for students and faculty. Under the Director's or designee guidance and direction, this position provides cross-coverage support for clinical onboarding, clinical placement; and provides administrative support to the Assistant Director and Director of Clinical Placements.
Work Location: Doheny Campus (Downtown Los Angeles). Hybrid work schedule available with supervisor approval.

Position Hourly Rate Range: $19.71-$21.63
Hiring salary can be above the posted pay range if candidate's qualifications are determined to be above the minimum requirements of the position description.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and explain the requirements for compliance tracking and clinical onboarding (safety checks, health clearances, evidence of training, and affiliate onboarding requirements).
- Apply guidelines of clinical placement compliance tracking to all nursing department students and faculty accounts.
- Maintain and update data management systems (i.e. EXXAT) to effectively track and update compliance status.
- Participate in preparing and presenting compliance tracking system and clinical onboarding training sessions to students and faculty.
- Provide individual student and faculty support as needed.
- Maintain and update template resources for students' frequently asked questions and compliance and renewal-related correspondence.
- Collaborate with clinical placement leadership support improvements to internal and commercial compliance tracking processes and systems.
- Develop, communicate, and monitor timelines to ensure that students and faculty meet full compliance and onboarding requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical placement and program leadership to trouble-shoot incomplete and expired accounts.
- Maintain confidentiality related to all student and faculty compliance information.
- Report flagged results to clinical placement and program leadership.
- Run compliance tracking system reports and provide regular updates to clinical placement leadership.
- Coordinate and provide cross-coverage for clinical onboarding activities by understanding, explaining, gathering, submitting, and monitoring student and faculty clinical paperwork, required training, and affiliate onboarding requirements for all nursing programs.
- Communicate with clinical agencies with regards to student and faculty paperwork, training, clinical onboarding, and expectations.
- Collaborate with program administrative teams during weekly meetings to ensure students and faculty meet compliance and onboarding deadlines.
- Assist in the daily operations of the Clinical Placement office.
- Assist with the establishment of systems to streamline office flow via use of the computer software systems, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets.
- Assist with data collection and reports related to requests for auditing information from clinical partners.
- Assist the dean and directors in the preparation of accreditation and regulatory materials, and in the accreditation and approval processes.

Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of an office environment including, but not limited to, typing, operation of various office machines (e.g. desktop and laptop computer, 10-key calculator, copier).
- Excellent working knowledge of software applications (i.e. MS Office, Excel, Publisher, clinical compliance platform or similar software)

Education:
Experience:
- Required:
- Minimum one year of administrative or program coordination experience.
- Preferred:
- Experience coordinating documentation, compliance, or onboarding processes.
- Experience in higher education, healthcare, or a clinical environment.
