Lotions and Oils Mixer
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compounding / Mixing Operator to manufacture cosmetic and personal-care products - creams, lotions, emulsions, serums, and oil blends - in a cGMP environment. The operator is responsible for accurately weighing, dispensing, and blending raw materials according to approved formulas and batch records, maintaining full documentation and lot traceability, and keeping the production area clean, compliant, and audit-ready.
This role sits at the point where the formula becomes the product, so precision, discipline, and clean documentation matter as much as the mixing itself.
We are looking for 1st shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Benefits, 401k, Employee Assistance Program, oppurtunity for growth

Operate mixing and processing equipment: high-shear mixers, homogenizers, planetary/paddle mixers, jacketed/heated kettles, and transfer/filling equipment.
-
Manage oil-phase and water-phase preparation, heating and cooling cycles, and emulsification to spec.
-
Weigh and dispense raw materials accurately using calibrated scales; verify identity and lot of each component before use.
-
Scale batches up or down as directed while maintaining formula ratios.
DocumentationCompliance-
Complete batch records in real time following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) - legible, contemporaneous, no back-dating, corrections initialed/dated.
-
Record in-process checks: pH, viscosity, appearance/color/odor, temperature, weight/yield.
-
Perform material reconciliation and record actual vs. theoretical yield; document and escalate deviations.

Maintain lot control and traceability for all raw materials and finished/bulk product, including retain samples and retest/expiration dating.
