Broadmead | Cockeysville, MD Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
At Broadmead, our team members are at the heart of everything we do. We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who is passionate about people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys balancing employee support with operational excellence.
In this role, you'll be a trusted resource for team members and leaders, helping to create a positive workplace culture while supporting key HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, employee relations, leave management, compliance, and HR operations.
As our HR Generalist, you will:
- Serve as a primary HR contact for team members and managers, providing guidance on policies, benefits, leave programs, and HR processes.
- Coordinate and deliver a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment activities, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with payroll processing, audits, and reporting.
- Manage leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other leave programs.
- Support workers' compensation claims and return-to-work efforts.
- Participate in employee engagement, recognition programs, and culture-building initiatives.
- Partner with leaders on HR programs, workforce initiatives, and organizational goals.
- Help drive continuous improvement through HR projects, audits, and process enhancements.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Experience supporting onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, leave administration, and employee relations.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems, preferably UKG Ready, UKG Pro, or a comparable platform.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while building strong relationships across the organization.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification is preferred.
