Visits are usually 30-45 minutes
→Pay is hourly and includes drive time, mileage reimbursement, tips and bonus holiday pay. It starts at $13.73/hr base pay averaging $15-20 per hour and increases after your first 90 days
-->Holidays average $22-25/hr, includes days surrounding holiday as well
Employees get 100% of their tips.

→We are a vacation service so pet sitters see clients from 7 am through 9 pm 365 days per year.
→Must have reliable transportation and smart phone. We use an online database to share client info and do schedules. A camera is essential to take photos of pets for updates to their families.
→Our schedule fluctuates daily depending on clients' needs and reservations. Because of this, earnings will vary as well though the more reliable you are the more work you will receive.
→If you have not had a criminal background check in the last year we need to put one on file. These are usually about $40 and will be reimbursed if you stay with Perna’s Pet Care for 6 months.
Candidates should:
- Be 18yrs or older
- Want to work for a boss who cares about their team
- Want to work with and love animals
- Be ok with working outside in all kinds of weather
- Be detail oriented
- Have good use of judgement
- Love getting puppy kisses
- Be able to handle a variety of animals
- Enjoy head boops from kittens
- Like to talk to chickens
- Have daily access to internet
- Meet physical requirements of job including cleaning dog poop, cleaning litter boxes, vomit and more (woo!)
