Veltex Recovery Group is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly motivated Business Development & Community Outreach Representative to expand our presence throughout West Virginia and develop strong relationships with organizations and professionals who encounter individuals in need of substance use disorder treatment.
This is a field-based position—not a desk job.
Approximately 32 hours each week will be spent in the community, meeting referral partners, visiting organizations, attending events, making new connections, and strengthening existing relationships. The remaining workweek will focus on follow-up, outreach planning, documentation, reporting, and relationship management.
A company vehicle is provided for authorized business travel, along with company-paid fuel and approved vehicle expenses.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people, isn't afraid to walk through a new door and introduce themselves, and has the organization and persistence to turn an initial conversation into a lasting professional relationship.
What You'll DoCommunity Outreach & Relationship Development
- Travel throughout assigned territories to represent Veltex Recovery Group and educate community partners about our residential treatment services.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, behavioral health organizations, courts, probation and parole offices, social service agencies, recovery organizations, community organizations, and other appropriate referral resources.
- Conduct regular in-person visits with existing and prospective referral partners.
- Identify new organizations and professionals with whom Veltex should develop relationships.
- Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, facility visits, and educational outreach.
- Attend appropriate conferences, networking events, community meetings, and professional functions.

Business Development
- Develop and execute an organized outreach plan for assigned geographic territories.
- Identify underserved markets and opportunities to expand awareness of Veltex services.
- Work with leadership to establish outreach priorities and business-development objectives.
- Gather feedback from referral partners and communicate market information to leadership.
- Coordinate closely with admissions and facility leadership to ensure inquiries are handled professionally and promptly.
- Help strengthen Veltex's reputation and visibility within the communities we serve.

Successful outreach requires more than making visits. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized record of outreach activities and following relationships over time.
Responsibilities include:
- Document organizations and professionals contacted.
- Maintain accurate contact information for referral resources.
- Record meaningful meetings, visits, presentations, and outreach activities.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with significant travel.
The typical workweek will consist of approximately:

Because successful community outreach does not always occur during traditional office hours, occasional evening events, conferences, community functions, or other schedule adjustments may be required.
A Veltex Recovery Group company vehicle will be provided for authorized business travel. The Company will provide fuel and approved operating expenses associated with authorized business use.
Compensation
