Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Janitorial Day Porter (Cleaner) 7.30am to 4.30pm in Ft. Worth/Dallas Texas, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities spotless, safe, and inviting. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various areas, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces to ensure safety and appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, lobbies, conference rooms, and other shared spaces throughout the facility.
- Assist with light custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues promptly.
- Support industrial cleaning efforts when necessary, handling specialized cleaning equipment and materials with care.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and used efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily checklists and document completed tasks for accountability.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing enhances your ability to deliver top-quality results.
- Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment is essential.
- Previous porter experience or background in facilities support roles can provide a strong foundation for success in this position.
