Position Overview
The Cadillac Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury purchase experience while achieving individual sales goals. This role focuses on building customer relationships, product expertise, and professional representation of the Cadillac brand. The Sales Consultant will guide guests through the complete sales process—from initial contact and product presentation to financing coordination and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional, courteous, and engaging manner
- Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend appropriate Cadillac vehicles and options
- Present and demonstrate vehicle features, benefits, and technology with expert product knowledge
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
- Negotiate pricing and terms in accordance with dealership guidelines
- Prepare and process sales paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with Finance & Insurance to complete purchase transactions
- Ensure vehicles are delivered in showroom conditions and customers receive a complete delivery orientation
- Maintain an active follow-up schedule using CRM tools
- Stay current on Cadillac product updates, incentives, inventory, and industry trends
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and performance targets
- Uphold dealership standards for professionalism, integrity, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior automotive sales experience preferred; luxury brand experience a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong negotiation, closing, and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Basic computer proficiency; CRM experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Compensation & Schedule
- Commission-Based Compensation Structure
- (Plan details will be provided separately and in writing. May include bonuses, spiffs, and manufacturer incentives.)
- Full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by dealership operations
Work Environment
- Dealership showroom and lot environment
- Frequent interaction with customers and team members
- Standing and walking for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
