Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically skilled Assembler for a 9-month onsite contract opportunity in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
The Assembler will be responsible for assembling pumps, motors, protectors, gas separators, downhole monitoring tools (DMT), pressure-sensitive instruments (PSI), survey equipment, shafts, and other mechanical equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble pumps, motors, protectors, gas separators, downhole monitoring tools, pressure-sensitive instruments, survey equipment, shafts, and related components.
- Clean, oil, and prepare components before assembly.
- Perform sub-assembly of mechanical components at the appropriate assembly station.
- Assemble new equipment according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, wrenches, torque equipment, and other assembly tools safely and effectively.
- Load completed assemblies and transport equipment to testing or paint/lockplate areas.
- Inspect components and completed assemblies to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, industrial assembly, manufacturing, equipment assembly, or a similar hands-on role.
- Experience using hand tools and mechanical tools.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, or technical specifications.
- Experience with torque tools/equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, move, and perform physical assembly activities throughout the workday.
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to the Bartlesville facility on time.
- Must be a local candidate able to work onsite in Bartlesville, OK.
- Must be available for an in-person interview.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling pumps, motors, industrial equipment, or rotating equipment.
- Oilfield or downhole equipment experience.
- Experience with torqueing equipment or Parmalee wrenches.
- Previous experience in oilfield services, industrial manufacturing, or mechanical equipment assembly.
Training
Training will be provided as required. Initial training may take place at the Kellyville location Monday–Wednesday, followed by onsite work on the first shift.
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Candidates must be able to consistently work the full scheduled shift.
Compensation & Contract
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hour W2
