Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials confidently to maximize sales and guest satisfaction
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Manage cash handling, process payments accurately through POS systems, and provide correct change
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support overall restaurant operations
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs, is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Culinary experience or background in food handling enhances your ability to serve with confidence
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Proven ability in upselling techniques, sales growth, and delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience with guest relations, serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and basic math for cash handling ensures smooth operations
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures supports a safe dining environment
