American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring at least 1 year of recent PT experience and BLS certification.

Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 32 beds
-
Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
-
13-week contract assignment
-
Unit staffed with about 35 therapists and 50 nurses, including 8 OTs, 8 PTs, 1 Rehab Aide, 7 nurses, 3 PCTs, and 1 unit coordinator on day shift

Expecting 5-6 hours of treatment per day

Uses specialized equipment including H200/L300 and BURT

EMR system used is Meditech
-
Weekend work required, minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period

Floating to other Methodist Inpatient Rehab units possible

Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience required

Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation required

BLS certification required

Ability to work flexibly as part of a team

Previous inpatient rehab experience preferred

Willingness to work weekends preferred

License required if applicable

Main responsibilities include ADLs, evaluations, and typical inpatient rehab treatments
