Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and common spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure surfaces are sanitized and spotless.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing household linens and clothing.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting high-touch areas and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces pristine.
- Manage janitorial tasks such as replenishing supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring all cleaning tools are well-maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ privacy, listening to their needs, and addressing any special requests promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including carpets, hardwood floors, tiles, and upholstery.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to maintain a polished look.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments.
- Experience in laundry services including washing, folding, and stain removal.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Prior janitorial or hotel housekeeping experience is a plus; certification in housekeeper management or commercial cleaning is advantageous.
