Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, organizing supplies, and handling basic food prep when needed.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing and cleanup services.
- Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Manage waste disposal responsibly and keep work areas tidy throughout shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations including bussing, food handling, and basic cooking or food prep is advantageous.
- Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale hospitality events is a plus.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff.
