Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform high-voltage and low-voltage wiring tasks safely using appropriate power tools and hand tools.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using testing equipment such as ohmmeters to identify faults or issues within electrical circuits.
- Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 compliance standards and electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components in industrial settings for efficient system control.
- Collaborate on construction sites or renovation projects, contributing your expertise in framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed for seamless project completion.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes, NEC standards, NFPA 70 compliance requirements, and safety procedures.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with familiarity in construction processes and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment necessary for complex electrical installations.
- Prior experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, or handyman work is highly desirable for this role.
