Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person that is familiar with the ins and outs of the trading card industry specifically in regards buy lists. You will also be responsible for selling products, and assisting with inventory management..
Responsibilities
- Stay on top of current trends in the field including when rotations are coming up.
- Process customer buy lists and log transactions and incoming cards.
- Sitting with customers via appointments to process collections or large lists.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to assist customers accurately.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Advanced knowledge of Magic the Gathering cards and their various printings and treatments.
- Knowledge on card identification and finding market prices
- Ability to detect counterfeit cards for the various games we carry
- Math skills to find out how much we are paying on the cards based on our rates and the card condition
- Conversion on rates for cash price vs credit pricing
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
