MOLD REMEDIATION TEAM LEAD (Full-Time)
COMPENSATION: $40.00 – $50.00 / hour ($83,200 – $104,000 / year)
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday (Day Shift). No weekends.

Green Home Solutions Bay Area is an elite indoor air quality and environmental restoration firm operating in the SF Peninsula. We are a locally owned, well-capitalized business backed by a leading national brand. We provide high-end, eco-friendly moisture control, mold remediation, and structural air quality solutions to high-density residential and commercial properties.
The Role
We are seeking a hands-on field leader. You will run premium remediation projects from start to finish, supervise on-site technicians, and serve as the primary client-facing representative on our jobs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Do the work: Perform hands-on mold cleanup, moisture control, crawl space setups, and basic demolition/carpentry (drywall and framing).
- Lead the crew: Manage, train, and work alongside on-site technicians to ensure our high quality standards are met.
- Enforce safety: Ensure the team strictly adheres to safety protocols, including mandatory respirator and Tyvek suit usage.
- Represent the brand: Communicate clearly with residential and commercial clients, protect their property, and resolve on-site issues.
- Manage logistics: Drive company vehicles, coordinate equipment loading, and handle proper waste disposal.
- Document progress: Use our mobile CRM app to log project photos and daily work reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on mold remediation or water damage restoration experience.
- Containment: Verifiable proficiency setting up critical containment zones, poly sheeting, and negative air controls.
- Physical: Able to work in tight spaces (crawl spaces/attics), wear full PPE for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requirements: Valid CA driver’s license with a clean DMV record. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Preferred: Proven experience managing projects from initial containment through to structural treatment and completion.
- Preferred: 2+ years of residential carpentry/framing experience, active IICRC (WRT/AMRT) certifications, or Spanish bilingual skills.
