Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, knowledge of traditional and modern sushi preparation, and a dedication to food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese dishes
- Ensure proper handling and storage of fresh seafood and ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sushi chef or relevant culinary role
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
