Clear Sight Vision Associates is seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Opthalmic Technician to join our growing private practice located next door to Visionworks in Brazos Town Center in Rosenberg, Texas. Our Office is committed to providing exceptional patient care through advanced technology, personalized service, and welcoming envrionment. Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for examination
- Obtain medical histories and chief complaints from patients
- Perform pre-testing including autorefractor, lensometry, visual fields, optos imaging and other diagnostic testing
- assist with patient contact lens training and education
- enter accurate patient information into electronic medical records
- Support patient flow and maintain exam room cleanliness
- provide excellent customer service and patient education
Qualifications:
- Full or part time reliability with Monday - Saturday availability preferred.
- No less than 1 year technician experience in previous opthalmic or optometric positions preferred (tech, med. assistant, etc.)
- knowledge of eye care terminology and procedures
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- detail-oriented and dependablde
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Spanish speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
