ITAD Lead Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced ITAD Lead Technician for our ITAD Division in Ontario, CA.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of IT assets, computer hardware, troubleshooting, and refurbishment processes while also supporting leadership and workflow coordination within the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and support daily operations within the ITAD department
- Assist with training, coaching, and supporting technicians and production staff
- Help monitor workflow, productivity, accuracy, and department organization
- Troubleshoot, repair, refurbish, and upgrade laptops, desktops, servers, and other IT equipment
- Diagnose hardware and software issues
- Perform testing of components and systems for functionality
- Accurately record inventory data, cosmetic grading, testing results, and processing details into ERP system
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
- Assist with inventory control and material tracking
- Support process improvement initiatives and operational goals
- Work closely with operations leadership to ensure department expectations and production timelines are met
- Networking knowledge is a plus (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Dell, etc.)
- Windows/Linux/macOS knowledge required
- Soldering and component-level troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in IT, computer repair, refurbishment, or ITAD operations preferred
- Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred
- ITAD industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Basic networking knowledge preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Industry-recognized certifications are a plus
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Repetitive and frequent lifting of items weighing 25 pounds or more
- Basic math and computer component knowledge required
