POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position: Mechanic
Primary Report to: Maintenance Supervisor
Primary Supervision of: None
Required Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Prefer completion of trade school and NCCER Certification.
Responsibilities / Key Activities:
- Comply with all company safety policies, procedures and safe work practices, and adhere to high housekeeping standards.
- Perform assigned mechanical maintenance repair work orders necessary to meet plant maintenance and minor capital budget requirements.
- Maintain and expand technical expertise of maintenance techniques and repair procedures.
- Suggest changes in methodology, work practices, etc., to reduce plant maintenance costs.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
