Duties
- Accurately take and process to-go orders via phone, online platforms and in person.
- Communicate clearly with guests regarding order details, special requests, and estimated pickup times while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Prepare and package food orders following food safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained.
- Maintain organized workstations, manage multiple orders efficiently, and keep track of order status using restaurant management systems.
- Assist with guest relations by providing friendly service, answering questions about menu items, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Support overall restaurant operations by collaborating with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Previous host/hostess experience or food service background is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately Toast POS.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage orders, reservations, and guest interactions seamlessly.
- Professional phone communication skills with good phone etiquette for taking orders and addressing guest inquiries.
