Requirements:
- FLDOE Certification in ESE K-12, Emotionally Handicapped, Mentally Handicapped, Specific Learning Disabilities, OR Varying Exceptionalities
AND
- May require additional testing in one or more core area subjects
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Starting instructional pay is $50,450 per year, plus there is a pay supplement for a advanced degrees.

Our voters passed a millage in 2022 and all instructional staff, from zero to 19+ years of experience, will receive a supplement. The pay ranges based on years of experience, but for a teacher with 19+ years' experience, that's approximately an additional $8,110 (pay and supplement are prorated based on start date) in your pocket! This raises the overall compensation higher than our neighboring school districts.
