Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist with day-to-day accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional, creative environment and has strong QuickBooks experience.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and accounts payable transactions
- Enter and post customer invoices and payments
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collections follow-up
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Record deposits and maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist with credit card reconciliations and expense coding
- Support month-end closing activities
- Maintain organized digital accounting files and documentation
- Work closely with the CFO and leadership team on accounting-related tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Experience in construction, interior design, architecture, or professional services is a plus
