We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate is confident, energetic, detail-oriented, client-focused, and passionate about helping families navigate some of the most important and challenging moments of their lives.
Position Overview
This is a full-time attorney position for a motivated attorney with experience handling family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, post-decree issues, and related domestic relations matters.
The successful candidate will manage cases from start to finish, provide clear and practical legal advice, advocate effectively for clients, and work collaboratively with our attorneys, paralegals, and support team.

Responsibilities
The attorney’s responsibilities will include:
· Representing clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, maintenance, property division, and post-decree disputes
· Providing clear legal advice to clients regarding their rights, obligations, options, and potential outcomes
· Developing case strategies tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances
· Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, disclosures, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
· Preparing for and attending court appearances, mediations, conferences, and hearings
· Negotiating favorable resolutions through settlement discussions, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution processes
· Conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal research platforms
· Managing multiple active cases efficiently while maintaining organized files, deadlines, and case plans
· Communicating professionally and promptly with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, experts, and colleagues
· Working collaboratively with paralegals and other team members to ensure excellent client service and case management
· Maintaining the firm’s reputation for professionalism, preparedness, cooperation, and high-quality advocacy
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
· Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
· Active license to practice law in Colorado
· Demonstrated experience handling family law matters
· Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
· Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
· Courtroom experience, including hearings and contested matters
· Strong negotiation skills and the ability to remain professional under pressure
· Familiarity with Colorado domestic relations law, court procedures, and applicable statutes
· Experience using legal case management systems
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly to clients
· Sound judgment, professionalism, and strong organizational skills
· Ability to manage a caseload independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
Our office hours are:
· Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MST
· Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM MST
Employees are expected to be available, responsive, and productive during active work hours. We trust our attorneys to manage their schedules professionally while maintaining responsiveness, preparation, and high standards of service.

Work Location
This position offers a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. The attorney must be able to commute to our Castle Pines office for in-person work as required, but at least once per week.
Compensation
Base salary: $89,000–$135,000 per year, depending on experience
Bonus: on collected fees to be determined
Compensation is paid in accordance with the firm’s regular payroll schedule.
