Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Server/Bartender, where you will be the heart of the guest experience! This energetic role combines the art of mixology and exceptional customer service to create memorable moments for our patrons. Whether crafting innovative cocktails or delivering prompt, friendly service at the table, you’ll play a vital part in fostering a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We’re seeking motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about hospitality, food, and beverage excellence. Server pay starts at 9.50$/hr+tip and bar pay starts at 15$/hr+tip. Schedule would be either 2 days on bar and 3 days serving or 1 day on bar and 4 days serving depending on staffing.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff
- Provide attentive table service in both fine dining and boutique settings, ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and dining areas while adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing detailed descriptions to enhance guest experience
- Assist with catering events or banquet service when needed, ensuring seamless execution of large parties or special occasions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with nightclub, banquet, or fine dining experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and positive approach to guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in busy environments while multitasking between serving, bartending, and cashiering duties
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of responsible beverage service practices
- Basic knowledge of beverage crafting is a plus
