Cook / Chef – NEW RCAC Assisted Living

Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour
Country Villa Assisted Living is growing! We are opening our NEW RCAC building and are looking for multiple dependable, experienced Cooks/Chefs to join our kitchen team.

Position Responsibilities
As a Cook/Chef, you will:
- Prepare and serve meals according to our planned menus
- Prepare meals for a larger group while maintaining quality and consistency
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and meal schedules
- Prepare and accommodate special diets, including diabetic, mechanical-soft, and pureed diets
- Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines
- Follow proper sanitation, handwashing, food storage, and cross-contamination procedures
- Complete daily kitchen cleaning and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
- Assist with dishes and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Monitor food and kitchen supplies and communicate items that need to be ordered
- Work closely with caregivers and other team members to ensure residents' dietary needs are met
- Respond professionally to resident requests and concerns regarding meals
- Follow all facility policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Dependable and reliable
- Experienced in cooking or food service
- Able to manage time effectively and have meals ready on schedule
- Organized and able to maintain a clean kitchen
- Comfortable preparing meals for a larger group
- Able to work independently while also being a team player
- Resident-focused and willing to accommodate individual preferences and dietary needs
- Available for rotating weekends and holidays
Assisted living, senior living, restaurant, healthcare dietary, or large-group cooking experience is preferred.
