Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Certified RBTs start at $25.00 per hour. Placement within range is based on certification status, experience, and qualifications. Entry level positions start at $22.00, but will receive $25.00 upon passing the RBT exam.
Behavioral Concepts is actively seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and motivated individuals interested in entering the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). While RBT certification is preferred, no experience is required for entry-level candidates. We provide paid training, company-sponsored RBT certification, ongoing supervision, and structured career advancement opportunities.

Position Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-to-one ABA therapy in home and clinic settings
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Teach communication, social, academic, and daily living skills
- Collect accurate data using a tablet and complete detailed session notes
- Collaborate with supervising BCBAs and clinical leadership
- Build positive, professional relationships with clients and families
Training and Support
- 40-hour RBT training program (paid)
- 6 hours of overlap sessions with experienced staff
- Clinical orientation and detailed session training
- Ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance feedback
- Paid RBT examination, certification, and annual renewal
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Enrollment in or completion of coursework toward a degree in psychology, education, special education, child development, or a related field preferred
- Interest in working with children and pursuing a career in behavioral health or education
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and clinical protocols
- Basic technology skills and ability to use a tablet for data collection
Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred but not required.
Position Requirements
- Must be able to reliably commute to assigned client locations within Orange County
- Reliable transportation required
- Minimum availability of three days per week, eight hours per day
- Ability to perform active, hands-on work with children (sitting, standing, moving, and engaging during sessions)
- Remote positions are not available
- Paid mileage and drive time between clients
