Job Description:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in the movement, storage, and handling
of large household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. This position
requires consistent heavy lifting, physical stamina, and a strong understanding of warehouse
flow. You will work as part of a team to ensure appliances are received, processed, staged, and
shipped efficiently while maintaining safety and organization at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
● Load, unload, and move large appliances manually and with equipment such as dollies
and pallet jacks
● Safely handle used appliances, ensuring care is taken to prevent damage during
movement and storage
● Pick and prepare appliances for delivery or customer pickup, ensuring accuracy and
timeliness
● Receive incoming inventory, inspect for condition, and verify shipment accuracy
● Stage appliances for testing, repair, storage, or outbound delivery according to
warehouse workflow
● Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment
● Follow established warehouse processes and traffic flow to maximize efficiency
● Adhere strictly to safety protocols, especially when lifting and moving heavy or bulky
items
● Assist with general warehouse duties and support team operations as needed
Qualifications:
● Previous warehouse experience and appliance handling experience strongly preferred
● Ability to consistently lift and maneuver heavy appliances (50–100+ lbs) with or without
assistance
● Strong understanding of warehouse flow, staging, and inventory processes
● Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
● Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
● Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
● Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques
