Signal Solutions is looking for an experienced audio visual sales engineer to join our growing company. This position is for immediate full time hire and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must share in the corporate goals and represent Signal Solutions Corporation (SSC) to our customers, co-workers and the public in a courteous and professional manner.
Perform site surveys to determine customer audiovisual (A/V) and video teleconferencing (VTC) design and installation requirements. Create estimates, orders and change orders including labor and materials. Meet with operations staff and sales people and report findings. A basic understanding of networking technologies is required.
Instruct and assist technicians to insure the assignment is completed in accordance with SSC standards.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) preferred but not required.
- 3- 5 years AV industry experience.
- The ability to supervise and manage tasks and personnel to meet project objectives.
- Ability to trouble shoot and solve technical, personnel or other project related issues.
- Ability to generate timely, concise, and effective business correspondence.
- Ability to read and comprehend project technical documents including
- Ability to create and maintain construction schedules.
- Ability to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Ability to diagnose complex system problems.
- DSP design
- Proficiency with test and calibration equipment.
- Responsible for job documentation as needed.
- Ability to travel and work at various job sites throughout California
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in the building trade (recommended)
Knowledge of basic electricity (recommended)
Knowledge of computer basics (recommended)
