After-School Enrichment Teacher
Location: The Whitby School, Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Thursdays, starting at 2:30 PM (after-school hours)

Job Overview
Amore Learning is seeking a passionate, reliable enrichment teacher to lead K-Pop Demon Hunters Fashion Design, an engaging after-school class for elementary students at The Whitby School. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys hands-on, creative teaching and thrives in an after-school environment. While this position is specifically for Thursdays at Whitby, strong candidates may also be considered for additional classes and future opportunities with Amore Learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging after-school classes using a provided curriculum and lesson framework
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel excited to participate and express themselves
- Facilitate hands-on activities, projects, and discussions that promote creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs and learning styles of diverse students
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and school partners
- Track attendance and provide informal feedback on student progress
- Collaborate with Amore Learning staff to support high-quality enrichment programming
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or enrichment setting
- Enthusiasm or experience in one or more enrichment areas such as Acting, Art, Creative Writing, Coding, Pokémon, or other interest-based subjects
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Flexibility, creativity, and confidence leading small groups
- Commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Availability Requirement
This role requires consistent availability on Thursdays starting at 2:30 PM during the school term.
