Job Summary

Duties
- Develop, implement, and evaluate community programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs
- Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition to build a motivated team of community advocates
- Coordinate outreach activities including workshops, health fairs, and grassroots organizing efforts to engage underserved populations
- Facilitate public speaking engagements and presentations to promote program awareness and foster community partnerships
- Collect and analyze data related to program participation, outcomes, and community impact for continuous improvement
- Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to increase visibility and engagement across digital channels
- Collaborate with local organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and other stakeholders to expand program reach and resources
Requirements
- Proven experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or grassroots organizing
- Supervising experience with teams or volunteers in diverse settings
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage varied audiences effectively
- Knowledge of program development, project management methodologies, and data collection techniques
- Familiarity with social media management tools and marketing strategies for community engagement
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve multilingual communities effectively
- Background in social work, public health, addiction counseling or related fields is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written communication skills for report writing, grant applications, and outreach materials
- Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite or similar software for planning and documentation purposes
- CPR certification is a plus for emergency response preparedness
