Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and texturing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
- Perform hair treatments including extensions, threading, and specialized hair care routines to enhance overall health and appearance
- Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline daily operations
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable products or services for upselling opportunities
- Assist in store management tasks such as inventory control, retail math calculations, and product merchandising
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction, provide hair care advice, and foster long-term relationships
Skills
- Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a strong foundation in cosmetology and barbering techniques
- Proficiency in hair coloring, hair extensions, and advanced styling methods including makeup application and nail care basics
- Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management
- Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Excellent communication skills for client consultation, upselling retail products, and team collaboration
