Job Summary
As a Housekeeper, you are the behind-the-scenes hero who brings the "wow" factor to our guest stays. You will be responsible for changing linens, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring that guest rooms and common areas meet Hilton's immaculate brand cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and service assigned guest rooms, including stripping and making beds with fresh linens, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning floors.
- Bathroom Sanitation: Clean and scrub showers/tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and tile floors to the highest hygienic standards.
- Amenities & Supplies: Replenish guest room amenities (soap, shampoo, coffee, towels, etc.) and restock your housekeeping cart at the end of each shift.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests with a warm smile and a positive customer service attitude, assisting with special requests or delivering extra amenities as needed.
- Maintenance & Safety: Identify and promptly report any room damage or maintenance issues (leaks, broken lights) to the Executive Housekeeper or Engineering team.
- Lost & Found: Securely document and turn in all items left behind by departed guests.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Prior hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning experience is a plus, but not required—we will happily train the right person!
- Work Ethic: Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires continuous walking, standing, bending, crouching, and stair climbing throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as hotel occupancy fluctuates.
- Language: Basic English communication skills are required to interact with guests (Bilingual/Spanish-speaking is a plus).
