Our client, an industry leader in agribusiness operations, is seeking a dedicated Grain Facility Manager to join their team. As a Grain Facility Manager, you will be part of the operations department supporting the facility team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Grain Facility Manager
Pay Range:$95,000 - $125,000
What's the Job?
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the grain storage facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage and develop facility personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Implement and maintain safety programs to promote a safe working environment for all staff.
- Coordinate with grain merchandising to ensure timely and cost-effective grain movement and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and oversee capital projects to enhance productivity and quality.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business, or related field; or 5-7 years of grain operations experience in lieu of degree.
- 3-5 years of related experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of grain receiving, storage technologies, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, USDA, FDA).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with standard software applications and data-driven decision-making.
