Job Summary
Blue Ribbon Awards is a family owned and operated business serving the Chippewa Valley since 1968. We offer a variety of award products, custom signage, vinyl decals and personalized gift specialty products. We are seeking a motivated individual to join are team. Applicant will enjoy our small business atmosphere and the variety of day-to-day tasks. This role involves customer service, order entry, art work setup, operating engravers, product assembly, and assisting coworkers to complete orders as needed.
Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide quotes and detailed product information to customers.
- Create product proofs and artwork using graphic design software.
- Manage Inventory and source needed materials, parts and supplies.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers to meet all order requirements or delivery timeline.
- Work individually or assist coworkers with all aspects of order processing to include assembly, final quality inspection, packing and shipping as needed.
- Read blue prints and order specifications to meet product requirements.
- Operate laser engravers and utilize tools/shop equipment as needed.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, learn new skills and problem solve.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and equipment operation.
- Assist with billing and accounts payable records.
Skills
- 3 years previous experience in product customization or related field.
- Past occupation in engraving, graphic design, sign making, printing, ad specialties, or screen printing is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly processes and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency with computers, hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
