Job Title: Repair Technician II
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Potential extension/conversion)
Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Repair Technician II to support medical device repair, refurbishment, troubleshooting, and failure analysis activities. This role involves repairing and testing infusion pumps, diagnosing electronic/mechanical issues, performing component-level troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate repair documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, refurbish, and test medical devices and electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Diagnose and repair down to component level, including PCB and circuit board troubleshooting.
- Perform soldering, rework, and equipment upgrades.
- Use tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.
- Document repair activities, test results, and quality records.
- Support product complaint investigations and quality improvement activities.
- Follow GMP/cGMP procedures and maintain a clean service repair environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; technical degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in electronics repair, equipment service, manufacturing, or related field.
- Hands-on experience repairing electronic/mechanical equipment.
- Experience with PCB repair, soldering, schematics, and troubleshooting preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with hand tools and lift up to 30-40 lbs.
Preferred Backgrounds:
Electronics Repair Technician, Biomedical Equipment Technician, Field Service Technician, Manufacturing Technician, RMA Technician, or candidates with experience repairing circuit boards, gaming consoles, appliances, or industrial equipment.
