Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Independent Property Manager Contractor to oversee 5 to 10 vacation rental homes in your local area. This is an excellent opportunity for a real estate professional, retiree, stay-at-home parent, or someone looking for additional income with a flexible schedule.
As the local representative for your assigned homes, you will ensure each property remains guest-ready, coordinate vendors when needed, respond to emergencies, and serve as the primary local point of contact for homeowners. Your goal is to help deliver exceptional guest experiences that lead to consistent 5-star reviews.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure homes are guest-ready.
- Verify cleanliness, presentation, and overall property condition.
- Place trash and recycling containers at the curb for scheduled pickup and return them afterward.
- Respond to property emergencies and urgent situations as they arise.
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor maintenance issues and follow through until resolution.
- Perform light property checks between reservations as needed.
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, or supply needs to Stay Texas Hospitality.
- Serve as the primary local contact for homeowners regarding property-related concerns.
- Work closely with the Stay Texas Hospitality operations team to quickly resolve guest or owner issues.
- Help maintain high-quality standards that result in outstanding guest experiences and 5-star reviews.
- Document inspections and issues using company software and mobile applications.
Qualifications
- Dependable, professional, and responsive.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones, apps, text messaging, and email.
- Ability to coordinate vendors and follow up until work is completed.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform light physical tasks around the property.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Will REQUIRE you to Drive your own vehicle
Compensation
- Competitive monthly base compensation.
