Firefly Community School is a Reggio Inspired, Nature Based Learning Facility. We offer a calm, cozy, work environment filled with wonderful children, helpful staff, and all the tea or hot cocoa you would ever need!
We have on the job training, up to date teaching techniques, and opportunities to expand your knowledge and love of early education. We offer Spring Break, Thanksgiving Break, and Winter Break as paid holidays as well as other state holidays!
Firefly is a community of learners both big and small. We guide children by giving them the tools they need to encourage their thirst for knowledge, while also providing them a safe and loving environment.
To join our Firefly Family, you will need to:
Be 18 years or older
Have a high school diploma or GED
Be CPR and First Aid certified (or ability to acquire)
Have a passion for early education
It would be super helpful if you had:
1-2 years experience
Knowledge of conscious discipline and/or the Reggio Emilia Philosophy
