Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions with precision and creativity.
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail art, color theory applications, and custom designs to meet client preferences.
- Conduct skin and nail assessments to recommend suitable treatments like dermabrasion or esthetic laser procedures.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper disinfection of tools and workstations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and upsell retail products or additional services.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, and other beauty treatments to enhance service offerings.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace while managing retail sales efficiently using retail math skills.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a manicurist or nail technician.
- Strong knowledge of, nail extensions (including acrylics), gel manicures, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships through outstanding customer service.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and proper handling of tools and products.
- Ability to perform detailed work such as nail art design, hair threading, body waxing, and eyelash extensions if applicable.
- Good physical stamina for standing long hours and working with precision.
