We are looking for a part-time Retail Sales & Creative Support Associate to join our team in Cypress, TX.
This role supports customer experience, daily shop flow, class and event prep, inventory, merchandising, store displays, sample making, and occasional social media/content support.
The right fit is friendly, dependable, trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working in a customer-facing small-business environment. Sewing, quilting, crafting, or textile experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is excited to learn.
Details:
Part-time, in person
Approximately 15–22 hours per week
Saturday & Sunday availability required
Occasional evening/after-hours availability needed
Pay: $13.50–$15/hour, based on experience
Employee discount available after the training period

What you'll help with:
- Welcome customers and assist with product selection, answering questions and providing information on features and benefits.
- Process transactions at the register, handle cash drawer, and operate POS systems with accuracy.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays, stock shelves, and organize floor space for easy browsing.
- Provide basic math and upsell techniques to meet sales targets; handle returns and exchanges per store policy.
- Conduct basic product demos, offer bilingual assistance if needed, and ensure a positive, friendly shopping experience.
- Assisting with customer accounts, order lookups, and basic product questions
- Restocking, organizing, and maintaining displays
- Preparing materials for classes and special events
- Cutting fabric and assembling kits or bundles
- Helping with inventory, pricing, and product labeling
- Creating samples and supporting creative shop projects
- Keeping the retail and classroom areas clean and organized
- Occasionally assisting with photos, videos, or social media content
- Supporting youth, adults, beginners, and makers with different learning styles
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
