Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Remodeler to spearhead residential and commercial renovation projects. As a Lead Remodeler, you will oversee the entire remodeling process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will inspire teams of skilled tradespeople, coordinate with clients and vendors, and uphold safety and craftsmanship at every stage. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage remodeling projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and onsite workers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Oversee construction activities such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, roofing, masonry, and finishing work.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized fabrication techniques to complete tasks effectively.
- Conduct construction inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage construction estimating processes for materials and labor costs to stay within project budgets.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including daily logs, incident reports, and progress updates.
- Foster a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site safety meetings.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in remodeling projects.
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Skilled in various trades, including Carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry, deck, stairs, fence, door, and window install), Plumbing (copper pipe soldering, PEX, PVC, ABS, water leak repairs, toilet, tub replacement, angle stops, and water lines), Electrical (outlet, light fixtures, GFCI, replacement, exhaust fan installation), Masonry (concrete forming, concrete finishing), Roofing, Painting (interior/exterior), Drywall (installation and finishing), Flooring (tile laying, carpet, LVP ), Cabinet installation, counter top fabrication and installation, glass installation, stucco application, caulking, welding, restoration work, hardscape creation, and general construction painting.
- Proficiency with work-related apps and software or similar digital markup laser tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (dump trailers) safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and project management principles.
- Experience with construction inspection processes to ensure quality control throughout each phase of the project.
- Knowledge of electrical systems (electrical experience) and plumbing is a plus for coordinating trades effectively.
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; ability to travel between job sites as needed. Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
