Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Jewelry Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewelry sales and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces that meet their preferences and budget
- Educate customers on the quality and value of different jewelry items
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain a clean and organized jewelry display area
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Coordinate workload for after-sales services such as jewelry cleaning and repairs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in jewelry sales is preferred but not required. Prefer at least 3 years of experience in retail sales/customer service
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic math for processing transactions and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills in English (in both spoken and written forms) to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage inventory and keep the store presentable
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in technology sales for utilizing point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of stock management practices for maintaining inventory levels
- Familiarity with technical aspects of jewelry for assisting customers with specific inquiries
- Willingness to learn new skill sets
