Position Overview
We are hiring an Experienced Carpenter to join a fast-paced residential renovation team focused on unit turns and property improvements.
This is not a basic maintenance role. You will be part of a structured team completing full unit renovations with clear expectations, timelines, and daily production tracking.
You will typically work in a 2-person crew (Tech 1 + Carpenter) and report to a Lead overseeing quality and timelines.
How Our Team Operates
- Crews are assigned one unit at a time for efficiency and focus
- Each project has a defined scope, material list, and timeline
- Work is tracked daily through a property management system
- You will be expected to produce consistent progress every day
- Quality and speed both matter — this is a results-driven environment
Core Responsibilities
- Finish carpentry (trim, baseboards, casing, doors)
- Hang and install interior/exterior doors
- Install cabinets, countertops, and vanities
- Light framing and structural repairs
- Drywall (hang, patch, mud, sand)
- Flooring installation (LVP, laminate, tile preferred)
- Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
- Execute full unit renovations from start to finish
- Work alongside a Tech 1 and help guide less experienced team members
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Daily Expectations
- Upload progress photos (start of day, mid-day, end of day)
- Communicate delays or issues immediately
- Stay on schedule and hit production targets
- Complete work to a professional, rent-ready standard
- Participate in end-of-day check-ins if project is behind
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of carpentry or renovation experience
- Must have own tools (basic to intermediate carpentry tools)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between job sites during the day
- Strong work ethic — must be dependable and consistent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a structured crew
