Join our dynamic healthcare team as an X-Ray LMRT or Radiologic Technologist. Where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services Via Mobile.. This position involves performing a variety of radiographic procedures, including X-ray, EKG. You will work closely with physicians and medical staff to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment plans in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology will ensure precise imaging results while maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient care. Tech will take vehicle home and dispatch from home.
Responsibilities
- Perform mobile diagnostic radiology procedures including X-rays and EKG with precision and attention to detail. Use our vehicle and equipment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment in emergency room settings, urgent care clinics, and Level I trauma centers to support urgent diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results accurately and assist in diagnostic decision-making processes.
- Ensure all images meet quality standards for diagnostic evaluation and are properly documented in patient records.
- Follow safety guidelines for radiation exposure and utilize protective measures to safeguard patients and staff during procedures.
- Stay current with technological advancements in medical imaging.
Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) or LMRT Limited Medical Radiological tech.
- Mobile and Proven experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures within emergency medicine settings or Level II trauma centers; experience in Level I trauma centers is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology.
- Hands-on experience and techniques such as radionuclide therapy or bone density assessments.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices essential for patient safety during invasive or sterile procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments like emergency rooms or urgent care clinics.
