As a mobile developer at ZAP Solutions, this will be an incredible opportunity to steer our mobile development efforts and take on several new start up projects. The mobile developer position will be required to design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support mobile apps on both platforms (iOS and Android). Attention to design, performance, user experience, scalability, clean and documented code is required. Candidate should have experience designing, developing and launching mobile web-service driven apps in the Apple App Store and Android Market. Candidate must have an incredible sense of modern web and user experience design, graphics, layout, transitions and feedback on the mobile platforms and a mastery of variations on mobile platforms (I/O, display, audio, libraries, etc) are a must. Must be able to work closely with back end developers and designers on app design and integration.
- 1-5 years production mobile app design and development experience
- Strong mobile UX design, coding and support/maintenance, collaboration and communication skills
- iOS and Android (Java) experience, from design to store to updates
- Objective C, Java, Xcode, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, Web Services – Would consider experience with Titanium or similar
- Effective CSS layouts, graphics, icons/glyphs, fonts and motion graphics design
- Source code management experience
- Experience with web-services, social, e-commerce, gaming and multimedia apps
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
- Great communication skills. Energetic, and passionate about technology
