Helmuth Builders has been serving Virginia since 1989 with high‑quality sheds, garages, cabins, and outdoor structures. We are seeking a full‑time Business Development Representative to support customers, manage leads, and represent our brand at our Ruckersville, VA location.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service, retail sales, or CRM experience who enjoy helping customers make informed decisions.
Position Summary
The Business Development Representative will greet customers, understand their needs, present product options, and guide them through the purchasing process. This is an on‑site, customer‑facing sales role with steady foot traffic, warm leads, and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist walk‑in customers and provide excellent customer service
- Learn customer needs, timelines, and project goals
- Present product features, pricing, and delivery options
- Manage and follow up with leads using HubSpot CRM
- Respond to calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries
- Maintain accurate customer notes and organized records
- Keep the sales lot clean, organized, and professionally presented
- Update online listings and inventory
- Assist with scheduling deliveries and basic office tasks
- Support advertising and occasional social media postings
Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing sales required
- CRM experience preferred (HubSpot)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable with Google Suite and basic technology
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Schedule
Location: Fredericksburg, VA (on‑site)
Hours:
- Monday–Friday – 9:00am-5:00pm
- Saturdays as scheduled – 10:00am-2:00pm
- Sunday closed
