BREEN Design Group is looking for a skilled candidate to be a Structural designer/engineer in our Torrance, California office. This position would the candidate to provide structural engineering design, analysis, calculation, drawings, and field survey work for new construction, alterations and renovations.
Qualifications include:

B.S. in Structural/Civil Engineering, with an M.S. in Structural Engineering preferred.

5+ years of experience in structural engineering; Professional Engineering License preferred.

Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, RISA, ENERCALC, RAM, etc. required.

Strong knowledge of ACI 318 Concrete Design, AISC LRFD/ASD Steel Design, NDS Wood Design, ASCE 7 Minimum Design Loads required.

Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be well-organized and self-disciplined with good independent problem solving skills.
